Insights from qualitative interviews
During the discovery phase, interviews were conducted with sports fans in the age group of 21 - 50 years to understand their needs and aspiration from a fan app.

John, 22 yrs
"I am a huge fan of Rafa, I want to know what he is doing when he is not in the court. Apart from Instagram and FB, I do not have any other source to know that and browsing through social media sites during office time is frowned upon."

"I like to watch games on TV, but sometimes due to work pressure and travel requirements, I tend to miss not only the games, but also the highlights. Getting scores on phone is fine, but the real pleasure comes either through watching videos or listening to commentary"
Mark, 32 yrs

Tom, 48 yrs
"My wife and I have a fight when there's a match coming up of my favorite team and she has to watch her soaps, needless to say she wins and I end up getting updates of the match through Google. It would have been really nice, if I could watch the live video on my phone without subscribing to any services"
Initial conceptualization
Low fidelity paper prototypes were developed to get a perspective of how the solution might look like
